Goway and APT Celebrate Extension of Early Bird Deals Downunder

April, 2019

Goway Travel, the experts in all destinations Downunder, have teamed up with APT (Australian Pacific Touring) to distribute their joint Goway – APT Escorted Vacation Brochure for 2019/2020. The 84-page brochure offers a wide range of Premier and Value-Plus touring options, including new Small Group Journeys showcasing the unique features and services that set APT apart as New Zealand and Australia’s leading escorted tour operator.

Goway and APT are pleased to announce the extension of the Early Bird Savings for bookings made before 31 May 2019 (previously 31 Mar 2019). Passengers can enjoy a 5% discount on their deposit, or up to 10% off a trip fully paid at the time of booking. Solo travellers can also take advantage of competitive single traveller rates.

The brochure also includes exciting new offerings in both New Zealand and Australia. Two new luxury small group trips—each accepting no more than 20 guests—open up new sides of New Zealand with the kinds of local experiences that have secured both Goway and APT’s reputations as regional travel leaders. Passengers can join locals at their Rotorua home for a Maori dinner, take a twilight cruise to Waiheke Island for wine tasting, a vineyard tour and dinner overlooking the Auckland skyline, and a whale-watching cruise in Kaikoura, on the lookout for New Zealand fur seals, dusky dolphins, and giant sperm whales.

Passengers stay at some of New Zealand’s most distinctive properties such as the Marlborough Vintners Hotel, and Peppers Parehua Country Estate in Martinborough. The 13-day North Island Wonders travels from Auckland to Wellington and is priced from CA $8,595 per person, twin share, with savings included. Also on offer is the 12-day South Island Sensation journey from Wellington to Queenstown priced from CA $7,995 per person, twin share, including the launch saving.

Two new land tours take the adventure even further. The 18-day New Zealand Experience tour is a luxury journey from Christchurch to Auckland. Its highlights include a three-course dining experience in Marlborough, a traditional Maori Hangi feast, a guided tour of Napier, and a catamaran cruise around the Bay of Islands. This journey starts at CA $8,545 per person, twin share, including the launch saving.
In Australia, agents can offer the new APT Value-Plus 15-day Treasures of Australia tour from Sydney to Melbourne. Included sightseeing highlights range from a fish ‘n’ chips lunch on Bondi Beach to a cruise aboard Quicksilver’s Wavepiercer catamaran to the outer Great Barrier Reef to snorkel amongst colourful coral at Agincourt Reef, the chance to experience the Field of Light installation at Uluru in the Red Centre, and a visit to Melbourne’s iconic sports venue, the MCG. This trip is priced from CA $6,645 per person, twin share, including the launch saving.
