The First Stop on a Luxury Vacation is Goway Travel

July, 2018

Goway Travel is opening up the world in style for discerning travellers. As the company gears up for the latter half of 2018, it offers accommodation at some of the world’s most exclusive and original hotels and resorts.

The culture-filled chaos of Morocco’s big cities and medinas is part of their appeal, but as evening falls, a secluded Kasbah in the mountains is just the retreat many travellers need. Under the ownership of Sir Richard Branson, Kasbah Tamadot delivers an exceptional standard of service in a relaxed atmosphere, high in the beautiful Atlas Mountains. It was named Best Resort Hotel, North Africa and the Middle East in Travel + Leisure’s 2017 reader survey.

The name dropping continues in at The Brando in the Islands of Tahiti, this time with a fabled Hollywood history. Film star Marlon Brando was so enamoured with the island of Tetiaroa, he purchased it in 1966. Today, the island holds superb eco-luxury resort The Brando, and welcomes visitors to see all that the star saw in this beautiful island.

Some Globetrotters may prefer to live like actual royalty. Beijing’s Aman at Summer Palace is happy to oblige, offering a respite from one of the world’s largest cities while keeping its countless historic attractions and rich history at the guest’s fingertips, including the fabled Summer Palace, right next door. Those who’d prefer to rest in the shadow of literary legends might book a night at The Balmoral in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is where JK Rowling completed her last Harry Potter book, in the room now honoured as the JK Rowling Suite.

A stay at Longitude 131 in the Australian outback surrounds you with magical tales of a different kind. With views of Uluru, this land has been home to the Anangu people for thousands of years. Uluru and numerous other sites are either considered sacred, or hold deep significance to local folklore (don’t climb the rock – take a guided tour around the base instead). By far the most comfortable place to experience it all is a private, air conditioned tent cabin at Longitude 131.

Also offering travellers the chance to ‘get out there,’ surrounded by an ancient legacy is Belmond’s Sanctuary Lodge, located next to the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu, Peru. High luxury in the Andes? Don’t mind if we do!
