Goway Recognized with Top Awards at Baxter Media Agent’s Choice Awards 2018

Bruce Hodge was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award

On June 14, 2018 at the Baxter Media Agent’s Choice Awards 2018, Goway’s focus on agents and exceptional line of products was recognized with multiple awards, including two top regional tour operator awards.

Goway won Favourite Tour Operator to Africa as well as Favourite Tour Operator to Asia Pacific, winning both categories with almost three times as many points as the runners-up. This demonstrates Goway’s incredible dedication to providing unforgettable tailor-made travel experiences to clients and our concerted efforts to foster relationships with industry professionals.

In the Latin America category, Goway missed winning the top spot by just 25 votes.

As well, it was not just our teams of Destination Experts who were recognized during the Agent’s Choice Awards. Travel agents recognized Aubrey Schmidt, our Business Development Manager for Central Canada, as one of the best sales reps in Canada, acknowledging that his tireless work makes them “feel valued” and “gives them added confidence when it comes to recommending and selling” Goway’s products and services.

Of course, Goway’s exceptional team of Destination Experts, BDMs, managers, operations staff, and marketing professionals would be rudderless without the experienced guidance of our founder and CEO, Bruce Hodge. At the Baxter Media Agent’s Choice Awards 2018, Bruce was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his incalculable contributions to the travel industry and his exceptional work leading Goway for almost five decades.
