Magical Moroccan Architecture

Kasbah Tamadot is a luxury hotel surrounded by green mountains, verdant gardens, and an endless starry sky. Peach castle walls blend in with the natural surroundings and reveal cobbled courtyards, castle turrets, winding staircases, beautifully carved doors and ceilings, and vast interiors filled with exquisite old-world tapestries. In fact, it’s so unreal, it feels as though a Disney princess is about to step out of the front doors at any time. The rooms are extremely spacious and spill out onto large verandas and terraces which offer spectacular views of the surroundings. Stunning Berber tents are dotted around the estate, with billowing material ceilings and exclusive Moroccan décor. With such luxuriously appointed rooms at Kasbah Tamadot, you’ll always be looking forward to bedtime.

Starlit Romance and Outdoor Cinema

At Kasbah Tamadot, romance is always in the air. With a twinkling ceiling of stars and a dreamlike landscape, there is no better place to spend your wedding or honeymoon – or simply get away to rekindle the romance. Treat yourself to a luxurious Moroccan couple’s massage or traditional Moroccan Hammam at the Asounfou Spa, and feel the stress slowly slip away.

Dining at Kasbah Tamadot is a one-of-a-kind experience, whether you choose to sample decadent Moroccan cuisine at Kanoun Restaurant, unwind on the rooftop terrace, or prefer a more intimate setting for two. Step-by-step cooking classes mean you can bring a little piece of paradise home with you, while Moroccan-themed outdoor movie nights allow you to cuddle up close under the stars.

Helping the Local Community

What makes Kasbah Tamadot so different is its undeniable aim to help the local community. With 90% of its staff made up of local Berber people, you can rest assured that your stay is one that benefits the locals. When he set up the hotel, Richard Branson decided to make use of the resources available to him, literally on the hotel doorstep, and set up English classes regardless of whether they chose to work at the hotel or not. Goway’s Kasbah Tamadot – Stay of Distinction offers travellers to “Pack with a Purpose” (which encourages guests to pack a little extra in their suitcase to donate to local families), and recognition for the Eve Branson Foundation which is headed by Richard Branson’s mother herself. This worthy charity aims to improve the living standards in local communities by organizing exciting and beneficial events from carpet workshops to craft houses, where items created by the locals can be sold to guests. These handmade items are on sale in the hotel gift shop and proceeds go towards the local community.
