India: Fuelled by Love – A British Airways Story

There’s something about the colour of the sunlight in India, it has a warmth unlike anywhere else. British Airways has been enjoying the warmth of this incredible country since first flying there in 1924, and has put together a beautiful short story based on one of their own flight attendant’s first experiences with India. This film is inspirational for aspiring and past travellers to India, as British Airways intended, but it seems to really have struck a chord with Indians themselves. In the era of ‘trolls’ and online bullying, it is rare to see a YouTube video with a comment section 100% positive! This video is a great snapshot of the very strong family values of India, and the hospitable, welcoming nature so common on the sub-continent. If you haven’t experienced it, you MUST go. Bravo to British Airways for this great video.

Note: In the video, the flight is to Hyderabad, in Southern India.

He spent a month doing Tai-Chi in China, horse-camped in Mongolia, rode 3rd class trains all over India, tour-guided in Europe, worked in Namibia and surfed in Costa Rica – the travel bug bit this Canadian repeatedly. Food is one highlight of any destination for him, and he’s admitted on a few times to be willing to try just about any food once, and apparently “putrefied shark wasn't that bad”.
