Fiji’s New (and only) Floating Accommodation

The resort has just launched the grand opening of their new “Edgewater Floating Bures” which offers a direct on-the-water experience. This is the latest addition to resort’s Edgewater Lagoon. These adults only bures are 380 square feet in size, each floating within the resort’s protected marina, offering the perfect experience for those who love to snorkel and kayak, right from their bure deck.

Each Floating Bure offers jetty access just a short distance from land, as well as a two person kayak which is tied to the 120 square foot private front deck – offering easy access to the pristine water that surrounds your new floating home away from home.

The bures offer a traditional Fijian style with touches of nautical decor, native “Dongo” wood accents, as well as tropical thatched roofs. These unique bures include a king size built-in bed, modern bathroom with shower, separate lounge area, mini fridge, and air conditioning throughout. The new Edgewater Floating Bures are Fiji’s only floating accommodation!

Spend your day lazing on the daybeds at the water’s edge, explore the offshore reef with a PADI certified crew member, fine-tune your golf putt on the nine-hole rainforest golf course or indulge in a banana leaf body wrap or coconut oil massage in the enchanting Rainforest Spa.

The resort’s adventure team can offer customized experiences such as exploring Lotu Island Cave, a tour of the botanical gardens, or hike to a tumbling waterfall where you can splash in the cool pools beneath.
